PRK airport - when to be there for a 6:50 intl departure

PRK airport - when to be there for a 6:50 intl departure
Hi,
looking for some opinions on when to be at PEK airport for a 6:55 intl departure. I intend to fly from PEK to BLR, and my options include a TG flight through BKK departing at 6:50am (leaving me with the opportunity to get a day room at BKK for the layover) or a SQ flight though SIN leaving at 8:45.
To weight day-room vs. later departure and shorter layover, can you estimate how early I have to be at PEK airport to travel to BKK as a non-Chinese resident?
