HK, Euro and Anaheim have the smaller Sleeping Beauty Castle. The others have the larger Cinderella Castle.

Does the fact that the resort is the last stop on the western end of line 11 on the Shanghai subway answer your question?

For those interested, they recently posted ticket pricing information on their web site. (¥370 off-peak, ¥499 peak) They also announced that tickets and hotel reservations would go on sale beginning March 28.

Lowest ticket price of any Disney park worldwide.

My guess would be lowest labour cost of all the Disney parks as well.

You are (of course) correct. However, they could have gone with parity v Orlando, but chose not to. As such, I feel compelled to give Disney (and the Shanghai government) a ^

Yes but highest ticket cost of any park per capita income. Takes over two days to earn enough money to get a ticket to the Magic Kingdom.

That's not parity but disparity.

If you are a businessman you should know that prices are not related to costs as such.

Yea, adjust ticket price to insure it's packed 24/7. As profit is generated from body count.

It's estimated that Shanghai Disneyland, the world's sixth Disney theme park, will bring in 24 billion yuan ($3.65 billion) annually, the Beijing Times reported on Friday.

The theme park is set to make 4 billion yuan from ticket revenue, while the purchase of merchandise within the park, such as toys, music, and publications, will contribute a further 20 billion yuan to the company's overall profit, the report said.

Yes I agree with the disparity of the true cost.

BUT

If the little emperor or princess demand to go, the two days of labour is not even a consideration.

I am interested to see what packages and VIP perks they will have on offer.

We stayed on site at Euro Disney recently and were able to enter the park two hours before general admission opening.
