Looks fantastic.

Being fresh from a week in Beijing, however, my eyes are bleeding already just thinking about navigating yet another tourist crowd in China in order to experience this.

If you read the link..the photographer was there for, well, quite awhile to get a photo. I think that 55 thousand USD camera was getting a bit smogged up waiting.

They say summer of 2015. So I would assume August 8 at 8AM.

Awesome, I hope they allow tripods.

Also hope that it'll be open when I visit early September.

Shanghai Tower

The observation deck opens in October this year, the rest of the building is in a state that says it'll be a lot, lot, longer before complete (even with Chinese workers/building rates in mind...)

Like on 10/10 at 10am? To commemorate the Nationalist party?

That view reminds me of looking down on the Jinmao from the IFC, now the Shanghai tower looks down on both. Can't wait to go!

That looks like an awesome building to work in. Fingers crossed a future client has an office there! Or one of the current ones moves from SWFC.
