Bf and I went to Crofton on Wells last night because of its star. It was good but nothing special.

Also, I just took my picture with the Michelin Man outside Big Star and got a free taco.

I don't believe so. My copy is in the mail. I believe that there will be a whole slew of other places that did not get a star and also didn't qualify for the Gourmand list - it would be a pretty slim volume otherwise.

I thought Twin Anchors was past its prime years ago, from what I've been reading.

Yeah, several of the Bib Gourmand winners are a little puzzling to me. I'm also surprised Tru only got one star...though it has been a few years since I was there.

This is the complete list. This list (with some spelling errors) was posted on yelp on Monday. Michelin decided to release it a day early because a lot of the restaurants were getting phone calls about their star rating.

The list pointed to is complete in terms of Restaurants that received stars - unless I'm mistaken, a typical Michelin Guide contains many additional listings for places that are recommended but not starred.

Michelin makes tires. Chicago makes potholes. Chicago is world class for potholes, and should have a Michelin 5 star rating on that basis alone.

The big news is the star rating. That was leaked early on Yelp. If you want the Big Gourmand list, this was released by Michelin last week.

My copy of this book is already on the way to me.

Melman is supposed to be a genius, but you have to wonder why he would want to make changes with such a success on his hands.

Leave at the top; often the best strategy in life, especially to get a promotion or better deal elsewhere.

Article makes it sound as if he was going to leave one way or another, though.
