NW Pilot arrested
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A Northwest Airlines 757 pilot was arrested Tuesday morning after officials discovered a gun in his bag at La Guardia International Airport in New York, Twin Cities station KSTP-TV reported.
The Michigan-based pilot was arrested after the gun was found in his bag at an airport checkpoint, sources told KSTP-TV. He was being held in a New York City jail and was expected to appear in court Tuesday afternoon.
Northwest Airlines spokeswoman Mary Beth Schubert confirmed that the airline was cooperating with federal and local officials about an incident Tuesday morning in New York. She declined further comment.

No, but she did say she kept her knees closer together than any time since the FFA convention in Des Moines.
