Fun Reading - My Granddaughter Pranked Me - And the TSA!

For a few months, my daughters family is living with us as they have a new house built. Yes, makes for tighter quarters-but also more time with the grand kids and help I needed while my wife had some health challenges.

Anyway, my 7 year old granddaughter (Hayley) and I have had this ongoing game. Hiding a large toy tarantula different places. So far, he's been in my bathroom, bed, car amongst other places.

Well, when Hayley learned Nana and I were going away for a week, she thought it would be a good idea to hide in my luggage. I certainly enjoyed finding him-as I imagine the TSA did too. I wonder what this guy looked like on XRAY??? He's actually mechanical so lots of metal in there. Hopefully they got a little fun surprise too.

We should be thankful you did not get sent to Gitmo for "artfully concealing an alien lifeform bio weapon."

Me too - kudos from an innocent 7 year old though.

Well, now our stowaway has been enjoying the trip. He's not hidden away anymore. Hayley is enjoying getting these pics back.

He was safely buckled in for connecting flight. Having breakfast and enjoying the resort-even crashing my nap.

I remember the "crunch" as we would drive over them in Southern AZ. Couldn't help it as they were all over the place.

Oscar (now he has a name) has checked in with us to the RC Aruba. Pictures of him relaxing on the way...

How many heart attacks has Oscar caused in the housekeeping staff?
