The Daily Show take on TSA (May 23rd show)

Did anyone catch the middle segment on The Daily Show last night? Pretty hilarious take on the TSA.

It is free on Hulu if you want to take a look. I don't think I can link directly to that segment, but here is a link to the overall program. Skip ahead to the 2nd segment for the TSA

Ahhhh! Room temperature!

Kudos to the Daily Show for not only skewering TSA, but for finding that many actors who could suppress their gag reflexes enough to wear faux TSA uniforms and film the bit. I don't know if they were porn stars, or just really, really desperate community theater rejects, but they captured the TSA attitude brilliantly.

Funniest thing I've seen in a while and I don't watch the show. Highlights:
1) DL PM reporter dropping the DYKWIA in his report. I wonder if he rocks eBay'ed DM luggage tags on his bags?
2) The commercial, OMG the commercial. The texting two-striper in the TSA reveal shot. The self-dousing with half-drank garbage water. Pocketing knives and lotions.
3) "Guns in the bin! Belts and jackets are OK, but GUNS IN THE BIN!"
4) The attention called to the fact that TSOs are unskilled labor and are paid as such.

Maybe this joke was too cheap, but I can't believe the writers missed the chance to add the clown in as a checkpoint staffer instead of in a line of pax at ORD.
