More Restricted Posting Procedure?

It looks like Blogdad Bob has eliminated the ability to post anonymously or by using a simple name. You now have to either link to a Google account or something called "open Media URL." Is there no way around exposing even more personal identity information in order to rip him a new one or am I missing something?

I note that in the Myth thread someone has responded using a Google account with the name "anonymous". But as with Yahoo now, one can't set up a new Google account without providing a phone number.

Isn't that a restriction of our First Amendment right of free speech?

I can't help but look at these fabricated numbers and think about the truth behind them.

- 65 firearms and 'lifelike replicas', including a pop-tart eaten into an L-shape, three Harry Potter magic
wands, a Buzz Lightyear grip toy, a sock puppet's 2-inch replica gun, a bra with an embroidered
image of a musket, and a pack of NRA souvenir playing cards with lifelike pictures of historic guns and
a single black licorice lifesaver that is a lifelike replica of the business end of a handgun.

- a fishing vest that someone with a vivid imagination and bad eyesight could convince themselves
might be converted into a suicide vest. Or just using for fishing lures.

- a flask of black bath salts and a toy plastic powder horn filled with black licorice crystals

- two lifelike $65 clear glass bottles of Jimmy Choo perfume that a TSO really wanted for his chick,
er, that would look almost like a cartoon grenade if the light was bad, your eyesight was worse and
you painted the bottle and added a lifelike replica convincing grip.
