Will I be questioned at Japan immigration for entering many times?

My first entry was May 2014 and my second entry was January 2015. I am going again September 2015 and all my previous entries have been in the same airport (HND) as well as the one coming up. I'm just wondering if they might question me

My passport also only has the Japan visas.

I can't specifically address Japan but we have a much longer string with China, for some years on about a 6 month cycle. No questions. (We did however mark the arrival card that we were visiting family and we always put down a residential address, not a hotel as where we were staying. That might have kept them from asking questions they otherwise would have.)

I've had a friend with issues at immigration when entering Canada twice in 1 year.

Japan will question you if you look East Asian enough to try to blend in and can speak Japanese.

I had a few hotels looking at me oddly when checking my passport and they question why I have a Western name and USA passport.......when they mistook me for half-Japanese or partial East or Southeast Asian descent.

I guess some Japanese do not understand that not other countries require for you to change the pronounciation of your name to "japanize" it when acquiring citizenship.

I once entered Japan 3x within a week - I got a curios glance from the Customs guy (not Immigration) and a question, for which "on business" was a satisfactory answer.

But 3x in 2,5 years?? How would it occur to the OP that it is "many times"?

You want to infiltrate the Empire of the Rising Sun 3 times in 3 years
just 65 years after the Great War? You are deluded my friend.
I hope you are travelling with a good lawyer.

70 years, come September. (if you refer to WWII. The Great War is often used for WWI, though)

What is "many times"? I actually think it's good to have a clear idea when often is too often.
