Be careful not to say "I want to pay with ISIS" at the airport McD.

(by the way, they are renaming themself from ISIS to Softcard)

But ancient history aside, this news just underline the idiocy that is sold a "airport security" to the American public.
Yes, thank you. "Greek Goddess"!

Presumed or suspected guilty or by dubious associations, or being sympathetic of ??? when traveling with such letters, initials or names, in the "sound" mis-judgement of the "finest" with Homeland Security's TSA branch.

Wait, say or whisper those words or flash anything related while in flight could result in a flight getting escorted or diverted with fighter jets scrambled. Yeah -

Feeling safe, huh.

Just for chits and giggles I'm going wearing my hoodie next week to work to see what happens.

Also, this goes back a couples of months.

I'd still stay that know that ISIS now something unpopular even though its headquarters are located outside of Greater New York is quite a decent feat for the JFK staff.

All signs that things are getting better.

I vaguely remember some Anthrax fans wearing concert t-shirts getting rousted back during the anthrax scare in 2001.

Terrorism is meant to mess with the head, but it takes a messed-up person to get so paranoid about terrorists when the risk of being killed or injured by a nut job terrorist is borderline non-existent. An unarmed person being injured or killed by the police is far more likely to happen than being injured or killed by a terrorist. And yet the police signs don't freak out all the same people freaked out by ISIS logo.

I'm so glad that someone else remembers this! Every time the newscasters say "ISIS", I chuckle (even though it's not funny) because I think of this VERY cheesy live action series on Saturday mornings when I was growing up.

I don't remember a lot about that show, but I do remember it. During the mid-70s, I was crazy for superheroes (still am, I must admit), so I watched 'em all - Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, the 1950s Superman, The Six Million-Dollar Man and Bionic Woman, I even liked the two TV movies for Captain America that were not picked up into a regular series. And of course, there were a ton of animated superhero shows - Superfriends, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Aquaman...

When you were a guy like me about 18 or 19 at the time, Isis was a major babe.

Isis is also a great microbrewery in Israel.
ISIS is NOT a terror-organization (anymore). They re-branded quite some time ago as "IS"
