More disturbing TSA facts

Anyone else seen this article? I never knew about the TSA left a disabled man covered in his own urine.

Or that top picture of an agent just pulling down some dudes pants? This stuff is crazy.

Why is there STILL no reform on this agency?

Are these isolated cases or is this a pattern?

flyingfreeparisny, welcome to FlyerTalk.

As this concerns airport security and FlyerTalk has specific forums for that topic, I'll move this to the correct forum. Ocn Vw 1K, Moderator.

I refer to these as "Another Isolated Incident™"

I feel awful when someone is mistreated by the TSA , but the good that comes out of it is that public opinion continues to erode. In other words, I believe things will only improve after things get really bad.

Everybody who might be outraged has bought into the PreCheck extortion, just like the TSA wanted it.

Well, to be fair, its not like your average traveler has a choice about this if they want to fly in the US.

That website doesn't look the most credible to me.

It's only $85 to ascend to the ranks of the nomenklatura and become privileged.

Not gonna happen. The site of me naked in public would be far more harmful to the traveling public than any terrorist.

Ironically I have found that since a lot of people got pre-check, the lines for the normal security have been pretty managable when I've been at the airport (15-30 mins max).

The one time I saw a long line, I got yanked out of line - I was randomly selected for PreCheck that day - no background check

I don't know if it such a huge difference personally. Some say it is, but others say its not worth the price.
