What about a thread designed to share and laugh at the TSA in a friendly manner?
Sometimes the only way to prove how ridiculous something is, is to use comedy or sarcasm. We've been using discussions here on FT for years. We have claimed a bit of respect and dignity back since 2011, but the progress on their 'Security Theatre' just hasn't been as much as I would have hoped.
Satire: noun. 1. the use of irony, sarcasm, ridicule, or the like, in exposing, denouncing, or deriding vice, folly, etc.
Here's my first contribution. I saw this on a bloggers website today and had no where else to put it.

I understand the system is still bad, but in many airports they have gotten much better since 2001. When they don't, you can demand they treat you with respect without too much resistance. Or at least that's my experience (I dish out the same attitude they give me).

I think things went drastically downhill in 2006 with the whole liquids fiasco, and haven't seen things get any better since.

How is getting felt up now any better than getting felt up in 2001 (think you meant 2011)? We surely cannot "demand" anything.
