Looking for Body Scanner Info & Sources

Hi,

I'm trying to put together a concise letter to send to my Congresscritters highlighting the security concerns of body scanners vs. traditional WTMDs, especially in light of Jon's great new video: http://tsaoutofourpants.wordpress.co...-get-defeated/

There are some things often thrown around in discussions, but I want to get the original sources to make sure I quote them correctly. Could people help point me in the right direction?

1) Someone from the TSA originally asserted that the body scanners would only ever be used for secondary screening. Who said this? When? To whom? (Were they under oath?)

2) I believe there's some lobbyist connection (?) between the companies that make the MMW and backscatter scanners and Congress. Who are the people in question? What are their names, and where did they work previously?

3) What other things should I look into? Israel thinks they're not effective, Germany thinks they're not effective, Jon's videos prove their not effective... what other details should I highlight?

Thanks in advance!
