Chase card: change card mid car rental

Chase card: change card mid car rental
Hi folks
I noticed hertz charged an old card they have on file (chase) for my car rental
And not CSR. I've had CSR for a while and never thought they didn't have it in my profile.
Anyway should I try to change the card during the rental or do
It after I return the car? Is it even safe doing it after I return? I don't want hertz to make up damage changes after I've returned the car and then chase to deny coverage because I didn't put the charge on CSR at the beginning.
