I was just approved for the palladium on the 26th. Card sent out etc, I've been using it via Apple Pay, but I thought the palladium was discontinued?
I called in and spoke to several reps, they ensured me the palladium is not discontinued and it's still their premier card. They are processing the reserve as the palladium, but the reserve is a rewards card.
I got into an argument with them as I want the 100k sign up bonus and they said I would have to re apply for the JP reserve all over again.

BOOOOOOOOM! That's what I am saying! ALL THE INFO IN THIS TOPIC POST IS INCORRECT!
And... IF PALLADIUM is discontinued (which it's not), just apply for the Reserve!
I may as well apply for the reserve in a month and add it to my palladium.... Two hidden tradelines, if they give it to me, sure.
And as for the question above, sorry I am not Sharing my banker and branch info, don't want swarms of people going to them.

and this: http://therewardboss.com/rejected-ap...-100000-bonus/
it seems like one person was able to get 3 chase cards approved within 5 business days, of which 1 is the chase sapphire reserve and 1 is the jpm reserve

However, if your a chase private client, go to another chase branch and talk to someone, you should have no problem applying for either.

I don't want to argue with the senior analysts, so they may have noted that I called in 1000000 times and not to give me a conversion bonus. Regardless, congrats, very happy for you! $1500 plus a $300 travel credit and a $500 lounge access... Ummm awesome

There's no such restriction. I got the CSP, CSR, and the Palladium (since converted into the JPMR) within the last month.

Venomz seems to be the only person on the Internet claiming that non-JPM clients can get the JPM Reserve card. And the only person claiming that the Palladium card is still available to apply for. Any other data points out there?
Mark my words, the old Palladium card is being phased out, and existing cardholders will receive communication on that this month. No sense in getting people's hopes up that the Palladium will magically turn into some Centurion-like card. For those that still have it, the JPM Select card is also going away toward the end of this year, being auto-converted to CSP.
I will apply for the CSR in a month or two and report back, but don't see why it would be a problem as long as you're a CPC or JPM client.

Then called Executive Line and they told me that all Palladium Card holders will be rolled into JPMR later this year but that she could switch me over immediately if i liked. I confirmed and received new cards today.

EDIT: Other than the first two sentences, this post was just for fun.
Just got back from a late breakfast with a business partner at Soho House West Hollywood. He is not CPC nor PB but I share at least 10 business Chase accts with him and I'm sure several more that are separate from us.
He told me his relationship banker was able to get back to him and successfully send in his app for the JPM Reserve. He said he didn't get a response but just recently the JP Morgan logo and account populated on his Chase online account.
So it looks like the JPM Reserve card isn't restricted for any particular group.
PS: If you're reading this, hi Luke, the grain bowl wasn't too bad.
Just grabbed drinks with a friend that is a CPC (not JPM) client. After being turned down by his CPC guy in a branch, he tried to apply for the JPMR using the leaked PDF application and sending it to the fax number directly. His app was faxed last Tuesday, credit was pulled Wednesday, and he called up today to check on the status. He was put on hold for a couple of minutes, then the agent came back and said he could not be approved for the J.P. Morgan Reserve card since he is not a J.P. Morgan Private Bank client. He said he made a big stink about it, even threatened to pull his assets from Chase, but was told something along the lines of, "Sorry, no exceptions. You can apply for the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, which has many of the same benefits." He then tried see if he could turn the hard pull from the JPMR app into a CSR application, but because credit was pulled a week ago they'd have to pull credit again.
So it looks like the JPM-only restriction is definitely being enforced.

Thanks darkhound! Nice score to get the 100k bonus for conversion. I was told by PB that only new applications gets the bonus.
EDIT: I see yours was for a new Palladium card and got the bonus when converting that to a JPMR. It sounds like the luck of timing.
