Chase Private Clients may be pre-approved for better or different offers, it's worth asking your banker.

My math says a 50K offer. Where do the extra points come from?
The extra 5000 points come from adding an authorized user after you have been approved for the card.
no longer available

Is there a business card?
Yes, and Flyertalk has a thread devoted to the business card: United business card currently offering 30K miles: United MP Business card: public offer now 50K miles!!

Can I apply for this card and earn the bonus after doing so previously?
How long should I wait between canceling a card and then reapplying?
What's the Chase "5/24" policy I keep hearing about?
Now that I've completed the required spend, when will my signup bonus post?

See the wiki and related discussion in Applying for Chase Credit Cards, 2017 onward

Where can I find an online copy of the guide to the card's benefits (such as purchase protection, car rental CDW coverage, etc.)?
Go to https://www.chasebenefits.com/unitedVW4

A few of the best features of the card include priority boarding, a free checked bag, and increased award ticket availability. Priority boarding and the free checked bag for cardholders is included even on the new "basic economy" fares.

For discussion of Mileage Plus benefits, see the master thread in the United forum, found here: United MileagePlus Master Wiki

United Mileage Plus Explorer-can Chase take points back if I downgrade?

Will I lose my sign up bonus points if I downgrade my United Mileage Plus Explorer card to the no fee card? I'm coming up on my 1 year anniversary and would rather not pay the fee. The bonus points have already been transferred to my United account. Is there anyway Chase can take them back? Thank you.

Received a mailer with URL:

UnitedExplorerCard.com/Boost7

After login, redirects to:

https://www.theexplorercard.com/50kAFW

The interesting thing is going to the 50kAFW URL prior to using the redirector URL only gave me the standard offer.

There's a no annual fee United card from Chase. You can't find it on Chase's website since new applications for it aren't allowed, you'll find it if you Google a bit though

Are targetted offers subject to 5/24? I don't see any wording about it.
It does have restrictions, but only the 24 month: "This product is available to you if you do not have this card and have not received a new Cardmember bonus for this card in the past 24 months."

Thanks,

Scott

Finally got around to getting the Chase Sapphire Reserve Card, seeing that 99% of my spend will be with the Sapphire card due to its better benefits and earning tiers on points, anyone with similar situation recommend doing a product change and getting the Mileage Plus Club card instead (at least this offsets/provides club access with the steeper annual fee which is equivalent of paying for the annual club fees) or other options?

I'm a lifetime gold million miler member with 1K status so the current Explorer Card benefits don't provide anything for me benefit wise that I don't have already through UA status.

What's everyone's thoughts and what do you suggest?

Many thanks.

I still have both. I keep the MP card for the "any available seat" = "standard award available" benefit.

I do not have status with United so you may get that benefit anyway.

I use chase UR points at 1.5 cents per point to book united flights if the UR cost is less than the 12,500 saver award. -Or I'll transfer UR to United to book award tickets that way, whichever works out best.

Lastly, I have used the daylights out of the free checked bag benefit. But again, you may get that benefit anyway.

Does purchasing tickets with, or simply owning, the Explorer Card improve your chances of a CPU? I'm sure this is answered somewhere but I couldn't find it. I'm debating whether to purchase United flights with Explorer or Chase Saphire Reserve, and I am Gold.

The CSR will give you 3x points vs Explorer card giving you 2x points for your United flight purchases. Being a gold status, your benefits from the Explorer card would be the same so I would use the CSR card.

Thanks. I wondered if United's upgrade system would take into account that I am an Explorer cardholder, all other things equal.

I calculate CSR at 4.5% (3x points but 50% bonus when you redeem for travel).

4.5% if you value UR at only 1 cent per point
