Effective 11/15/15, the rules are different for CSP vs. UR-earning business cards (like the Ink Plus).
Ink Plus: The new program agreement states that CSP: You can add one household member as an AU and then xfer UR to their programs.
NOTE: According to the Chase website, for both business cards and CSP "only primary cardmember frequent travel program accounts will be saved and authorized user (i.e. householder [sic] member or business owner) frequent travel program account information must be re-entered each time you want to transfer points."
For discussion of technical problems related to combining UR points with other UR accounts, see Problems Combining UR points between accounts.
Ink Plus: The new program agreement states that
- for combining points (i.e., moving between two UR accounts), "[y]ou can move your points, but only to another Chase card with Ultimate Rewards belonging to you or one member of your household or owner of the company, as applicable."
- for transfers from UR to travel partner programs, "[y]ou can transfer points in 1,000 point increments, but only to participating frequent travel program accounts belonging to you or an owner of the company who is listed as an authorized user on the account."
NOTE: According to the Chase website, for both business cards and CSP "only primary cardmember frequent travel program accounts will be saved and authorized user (i.e. householder [sic] member or business owner) frequent travel program account information must be re-entered each time you want to transfer points."

I had no idea that thread existed. And I beg to differ, it's totally related to Chase applications, since if you can't transfer points in a timely manner you may not want to even apply for a UR card.
FT is just so frustrating, with it's eleventy-seven threads on any possible issue, and flames from both mods and other FTers when someone actually tries to post some relevant news on a thread mostly filled with questions already answered in the wiki. I'm going to stop posting anything for awhile.

There is no indication that transferring to your own account has any effect on your ability to transfer to an AU's account, nor that transferring to an AU has any effect on transfers to your own account. It's all about having only one transfer-eligible AU per year. (I looked at the terms whle logged into a Sapphire Preferred account. I do not have an Ink Plus or Bold. I suppose those terms could be more restrictive.)
If you transfer rewards to one of our partner programs that is a co-owner of your business listed on your account, that person will be the only person besides yourself that you will be able to transfer to for the remainder of the calendar year.
This still isn't stated anywhere in the program rules for our Ink Plus accounts, FWIW.

It still does not explain what happen in reality as the incidents summed up in post 87.
Transfer to AU once then no longer to transfer to self, or vice versa.
Ink cards too.
1. gamzarme showed a case of transferring to an AU's account affected ability to transfer to his/her own account.
2. I met a case of transferring to my own account affected ability to transfer to an AU's account.
3. RobertHanson mentioned "If you transfer points to your authorized user’s United account, then you can no longer transfer points into your own United account until the next calendar year. Same with Southwest, etc. "

But the Chase reply said that person will be the only person besides yourself that you will be able to transfer to for the remainder of the calendar year. Doesn't mean you can transfer to YOURSELF and ONE AU and THE SAME AU during a calendar year? But that is NOT what is happening in reality, plus it only seems to affect airline partners.

Three days ago I transferred UR->Hyatt for my AU family member from our Chase Ink Bold account. This is now the second time in a month or two to transfer UR->Hyatt, and the process is pleasantly seamless.
Just to rehash my earlier comments on this thread, what is not so smooth is a UR->WN and UR->BA transfers to the AU account. Those trigger the "1 transfer contact per year" restriction to take affect. Not sure if this is 1 contact per airline transfer partner program OR if the chosen contact applies to all airline transfer partners account-wide.

Sometimes when calling to close the ink card Chase will waive the annual fee for a year. Although recently with one of my ink cards called with that intention and my bluff didnt work, CSR actually closed the account instead of making any offers and I had to call back 15 minutes later to have someone else 'reactivate' the closed CC.

1. How do I move pts from my Ink to my CSP? Different logins here.
2. Can I only move points to spouse or can it be any family member living under same address?
3. Can I move points over to whoever I AU? If so, Can s/he move points to my account if she is AU on mine but I'm not AU in hers.
4. Consider the case 2 or 3 (whichever works). Assume person A has no AF UR earning cards while person B does. Can person A move UR to person B's account? In other words, one person has Freedom while another has CSP. Can points be transferred from Freedom to CSP?

Just tried to move points from my CSR UR account to my wife's Southwest account. Got the following message.
"You may only transfer points to yourself, or one additional household member who is listed as an authorized user on your card account."
Is this new for the CSR? I did not realize the household member needed to be an AU.

Points can only be transferred to yourself, or one additional household member who is listed as an authorized user on your card account. Once you transfer points to an authorized user, that person will be the only authorized user eligible to receive point transfers through this program for the remainder of the year.

Correct, but something important has changed. Sapphire Preferred included free cards for authorized users. Sapphire Reserve does not. If we want to have only one paid Chase card in our household we will only be able to transfer to the primary cardholder's airline and hotel accounts. To have the flexibility to transfer to the spouse's accounts we would have to pay $75 for an Authorized User card on the Reserve account, add another $95 card, or downgrade from Reserve back to Preferred .

ultimate reward points for familly
I want to redeem my ultimate reward points for a first class ticket for my family member . Is this possible ? Particularly Singapore Krisflyer program. Could I transfer my points over to their Krisflyer's account and than they can use the points themselves to redeem for an award ticket ?
