My IHG card, which has been in a drawer for many months, was hacked Saturday for $104.29 at Starbucks and $3.90 at Dunkin Donuts. Website says "in person transaction". When I called Chase fraud they said many more subsequent transactions were declined.

Could I ask that people put a date when discussing the suspicious activity they're seeing on their accounts? It makes it easier to try to narrow down when & where to look for these charges on accounts.
For data points, so far nothing on my CSP/Freedom cards. CSP is only 2 months old, Freedom is 1 month old.

Mrs. FindAWay's IHG card, which was never used (not once - it was a replacement card number after a prior fraud and it went from the envelope into the sock drawer), was also compromised this month with attempted charges in Brazil/for a Brazilian merchant.

Hmmm... my UA card was also attempted to be used at an automotive dealership in Brazil last weekend. I received the replacement card yesterday.
What was odd was that I was on hold for 20 minutes before I could speak to someone. This must have been a major compromise.

I had been waiting for an IHG card for which I was approved in early May to arrive in the mail. I just saw it on my account, with hundreds of dollars of fraudulent charges from Brazil from around May 21-24. When I called today, Chase said there was a fraud alert on the account, but I hadn't received anything and didn't even know the account had been activated.

Very strangely, both Ritz-Carlton Visas (myself + spouse) and spouse's CSP were hit with fraudulent charges in the last 3 weeks. One was at an O'Reilly Auto parts store in CA, and the other two were in Brazil. Chase said they were all "in person" transactions, but only contacted me on the O'Reilly charge (I caught the Brazilian ones myself). We were in Europe end of April-early May, prior to these fraud charges, but only used the R-C cards at R-C hotels and did not use the CSP at all. Combined between us, I think we've only seen two other fraud charges over 10+ years, so not sure what the recent high activity of fraud means.

My Rapid Rewards, my IHG, and my Sapphire were all compromised within the last few weeks with the Rapid Rewards being just this last weekend. Whatever is going on...Chase needs to get it's act together. I've triple checked my devices for keyloggers and my cards all sit in a RFID blocking sleeve in my wallet. I also rarely use some of these cards...as they are niche (IHG/RR) spending type cards. *Sigh*
