Ultimate Rewards - "Experiences" / Auctions? [Discontinued]
Didn't Chase ultimate Rewards at one time allow you to exchange your points for various travel or entertainment experiences? What ever happened to that program benefit?

they claimed the auctions were not popular enough, and discontinued them just recently...I found they never had enough auctions to look at...maybe 3 or 4 all year for most cities,unless you lived in NYC or LA. Experiences are still available through starwoods, citi, amex ect ect and are rarely a good value. The only ones that are, were the fixed price auctions that were extremely hit or miss...want to see Santana in spain or gaga in Italy? if the available dates click with yours you could get a deal...otherwise they were just fluffy marketing made to look like you could get something else with your points.
