- 50k miles after $3000 spend within first 3 months
- 5k miles for adding an authorized user

The extra 5000 points come from adding an authorized user after you have been approved for the card.
Is there a business card? Yes, and Flyertalk has a thread devoted to the business card: United business card: 50k+10k united miles
Can I apply for this card and earn the bonus after doing so previously?See the wiki and related discussion in Applying for Chase Credit Cards- May 2015-Present

P.S. On a side note, ever since I got the MileagePlus card, I still get the 50kmiles offers in the mail. Additionally, during this process Ive detailed, I noticed that it seems to be letting me apply for the card again. Am I to believe that I can potentially take out two of the identical credit cards and get the 50k bonus offer? What are the chances that they would “catch” it in the application process. Are there any foreseeable downsides to trying this?
Thanks
I'd also strongly suggest that you read the last 100 or so posts in this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/chase...solidated.html Most of your questions have been asked and answered there.

Approved for the card. 55K bonus.
Now, the question is, should I spend all my money on this card or the Amex PRG?

Instant approval for the 50k + 5k card targeted when logged into my United account. Nice to repeat this bonus with the 24 month rule!

Amusing: got a targeted 50k + 5k offer in the mail (applied and approved). Have seen ads for the 30k public offer plastered everywhere. Recently flew to IAH - card applications in every seatback, and the terminals are practically giant billboards for the explorer card. While walking through the terminal (D, I think) spotted a kiosk for credit card sign-ups. They were offering 50k 'at this location.' :-p

I signed up for the 30 + 5 explorer card offer about a month ago. Two days ago I was at LAX and they were advertising a 50 + 5 offer. I sent a secure message asking to match the offer and they said I have to provide the invitation code that the sales reps at LAX had. WHAT?! If I would have waited....well..anyway that's the way life goes. If anyone happens to be at LAX or IAH (or any other airport with the 50k offer) and wants to share the invitation code it'd be much appreciated!

I'm still trying to figure out what "semi-targeted" means. Does it just mean that you have to have a MileagePlus account, so it's not open to everyone in the world? Or is it that it's only available to certain members? That would see more like a targeted offer, but I guess it doesn't require a specific invitation number or anything like that.

Worth getting the Explorer Card???
I have the 50 + 5K targeted offer, and will booking one domestic UA trip next year to BFE Wyoming and one int'l r/t in J PHX-IAH-LIM. Long-term as a PHX resident I don't see a lot of use here as I'll rarely fly UA and the award chart has been obliterated. UA fans, is there enough value here to take the credit hit AND tie up precious Chase Bank utililization?

Just a data point, I sent in a Secure Message to Chase online asking if they could match the offer that was seen on a pamphlet at IAH. Here's their response after I pressed them to escalate to Marketing:
Guess that's a No Go for me. I'll continue to wait until a better offer (than the current 30k one) shows up for me.
