If you used the 80K link above, there's no need to send Chase an SM. We've had multiple consistent reports from others that they received the 80K bonus after spending $1000 in the first 3 months. That said, there's no harm in SMing them to confirm the terms of the offer on your account.

Applied late last week online, was instantly approved. Over the weekend card showed up on my chase online profile. Haven't received the card, but today I called up and confirmed that I got 80K offer for 1K spend in 3 months. I used the link that took you straight to landing page with no mention of offer.
Looking forward to keeping this card after a year. Free night sounds like a great deal.

Well, good news for me today. Got the 80k IHG Visa on 1/7, closed it on 5/19 after getting confirmation that had not been changed to a MC, then got the IHG MC on 6/21, and my second 80k points posted today. So it's not a data point of getting multiple of the same, but for anyone who still has the Visa, you could still have the opportunity for another bonus.

A BRIEF KERFUFFLE, BUT...
a. got Chase-IHG-VISA 2/2014 $1K spend = 81K pts
b. closed (a) yesterday (sacrificed $21K cred lim)
c. applied Chase-IHG-MC today using wiki link
d. got "further review" message
e. called reconsid line, told "rejected due to already having card"
f. I stated (b) & it was confirmed, told to hold during "reconsideration"
g. told card starts at $2K cred lim, how much did I want?
h. said $2K OK, then told to hold, might get more
i. offered $10K cred lim, I OK'd
j. I asked if rush deliv possible, got transferred, got 1-2 day rush

Closed VISA 2 weeks ago. Applied for MC today thru link above. No details on the landing page. Will verify with CSR after the card arrives to confirm bonus. come on 80K..

I applied for the master card thru the link in Wiki last night and got a pending decision. I called Chase this morning and was told that I had too many cards with Chase (2 freedoms, Hyatt, Sapphire and Ink). They asked me if I am OK to have them move $5,000 from my Hyatt card to this new card. They also confirmed I would receive 80,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 in 3 months.
