I've had one card from Chase before and it came fairly quick from what I recall, though it was a while ago (I have two with Chase but one was formerly a WAMU card which will be closed the instant I need to call recon on any new Chase card :-D), and I haven't received my new Marriott card either. I need it pretty soon too, though I can live another week without it. Applied late last week, remember no mail delivery Friday!
Edit: Just got an e-mail saying it's on the way, I'm not quite sure what that means though, whether they just sent it or somehow think it will be delivered soon.

So is this offer over??? The application page link still works, but it takes you to the exact same address as the 50,000 points offer application page. Of course that might not mean anything I suppose. Maybe all the application pages have the same web address.

How can you tell that that the offer is for 70K points? I don't see it anywhere in the T&Cs of the offer.

Just got the card this week and made the first purchase. Checking the chase account online, it says statement closing on January 1, 2012 (!)...

Points usually post at the first statement. Sometimes at the second. Don't worry about the closing date online--until your actual first closing date, chase.com gives you some strange (but not accurate) dates.
