Yes, I have the plastic version with an EMV chip. Looks identical to the JPM Select card.

So this is still quite vague. I always thought it's the same concierge service as palladium.
How can we get more info on this?

Why is it vague? JPM Palladium card members get the J.P. Morgan Concierge (as do JPM Ritz-Carlton card members) and JPM Select card members only get the Visa Signature Concierge. Try dialing the concierge for your JPM Select and see how they answer; unless something has changed in the last few months they'll straight up tell you that you've reached the Visa Signature Concierge.

The customer service for both cards (Select and Palladium) is handled by the same team (JPMC Executive Line), but that's not the same as the concierge.

So is Ritz Customer care too handled by JPM Executive Line?

Is JPM Select being discontinued, real?

Yes, Ritz-Carlton customer service is handled by the Executive Line. I believe it's the same team that handles CSP customer service, but they may route calls to more senior agents.

The JPM Select can no longer be applied for. Existing cards will eventually be converted to CSP starting in early 2015.

Not sure if I missed a newer thread about this, but have folks been getting notified of the forced conversion to CSP yet?

(Apologies for ressurecting an old thread, I couldn't find a newer one.)

@bribro - where did you hear or read that existing Select card members will convert to CSP members?

I'm so sad that I ended up canceling this card a while back. Should've never ever done that.

That is interesting. You got a four-year renewal. I got three.

I've talked to the JP Morgan executive line and Chase Private Client, and none of them know anything about the card being discontinued and converted. The Chase Private Client lady even called Corporate, and they hadn't heard anything.
