Costa Rica adding extra digit to phone numbers
Costa Rica is adding a digit in front of all phone numbers in the country. For Mobile phones, add a 8, and for land lines, add a 2 to the beginning of the number.
So 255-5555 will become 2255-5555.
According to my wife, this will take effect on March 20th.
I still remember when you only had to dial 6 digits!
