J seat availability on 747

I feel really geeky asking this.......

So checked out www.seatmap.com and looked at J seats on CX872/873 HKG/SFO vv. The route is served with 747. On every single flight in the forseeable future, rows 14 and 15, and seats 11D and 11G are blocked. Seems like they want to block 14 and 15 because they are not sure which configuration of 747 they will use, but then they don't block row 84 on the upper deck (NBC 747 doesn't have 84 I think). Hmmm... And then 11D and 11G ?

11D and 11G are blocked because they're baby bassinet seats. They are usually assigned at the airport if no passengers traveling with babies need them. Sometimes they'll let you pre-reserve 11D or 11G, depending on the phone agent and potentially with a warning that you may have to give up the seat should it be needed for a baby.
