Looks like Cathay really needs those economy class flyers from Hong Kong!

Thanks too. Wonder why I haven't received such promotion heads up from AM.

I wonder how attractive could this be, just a few thousand more miles.

Well, for those frequent (business) travellers to China, this could be a nice bonus! There is no cap to the bonus miles to be earned.

I think its restricted to 2 trips/6,000 AM but I could be wrong.
Either way its always night to get a few thousand miles as a bonus as I fly a lot of regional routes that qualify.

Yes you have a point. If you fly frequently, it could be a really nice bonus.

Per T&C #10 : There is no limit to the number of times Bonus Asia Miles can be earned during the promotion period.

Clicked on the AM link and noted a few things:
  • I didn't receive any notification about this offer and if not for FT, CX would've lost my business in the coming 2 weeks.
  • Didn't know there was a place call Koera
  • Didn't know I could redeem Shell cash vouchers! Very useful when I have a small amount of miles to burn.

Economy only?!?!?!? I thought it's going to be like all other promotions that includes F and C class, but wow, Y only.... I guess Cathay is really desperate to fill those seats....

so I just tried to register for this.... and the website has hung. No idea if it processed or not. And like others, I didn't get any notification of this offer (and yes, I live in Hong Kong).
