The Amour de Deutz is also a blanc de blanc (aka all chardonnay), and I don't think anyone objectively thinks it's better than Krug (or heaps of other Champagnes), which is a blend of varietals.

No, I flew CX882 in F two days ago...loaded in HKG, August menu. I just forgot to take a picture or get the menu, my bad. But it definitely said Aug on the bottom.
To the fellow above hkgyyzcdg I would be keen to see the actual menu from your friend's flight today on August 3. I kinda doubt they would make a special menu for a day or two? Just makes no sense to me. I've never seen that before.
Agreed, doesn't make much sense.

I'm not sure what is going on and nor can I claim to be 110% credible, but Krug is still there on the flight prep (think intranet for cabin crew) for ALL long haul ex-HKG departures both yesterday and today at least. Perhaps it was supposed to be switched to the Taittinger gradually, but there is still some Krug 'left' to provision (so stock is short for Taittinger not Krug!) Or it could be the other way round too.
Sometimes the menu does not print what is actually served. I know because ex-ORD, Deutz is not loaded - they actually serve Moet and Chandon brut in J but the menu never reflects that anyway.
Perhaps I should shoot an email to Ed to clarify
