J also great (problems with poor finishings aside).
Only been in Y on the A350 once and yes, I noticed it and found it quite irritating. Similarly have been in PEY once and thought it was great too.

Just wondering if the A350 Y seat is the same as the soon-to-be-introduced 10 abreast Y in the 777 fleet. If so the crew are going to have to deal with a lot more aggravated passengers.

Are you referring to the older hard shell Y seats? I found it hard to find a comfortable resting/sleeping position in those, to the extent that when I previously flew SFO-HKG, I specifically booked the CX 77W flights (9-abreast) which had very comfortable conventional Y seats.

I try to avoid 10-abreast Y on the 777 whenever possible, but this is going to be harder to do as more airlines move to 10-abreast.
