Which Cathay HK lounge ?

Travelling from LHR to HK on 5th November on our way to Perth.

As business class travellers we will be entitled to enter one of the lounges at HK.

I believe there are as many as five Cathay lounges at HK, my questions are,

1. Which one will be closest to our arrival gate?
2. Is any one lounge better than the others?

We have a couple of hours stop over to kill before our onward flight.
Thanks..

There is a FAQ at the top of the forum on lounges and choices. Have you had a look there to see if your questions are answered there?

Hi OP, if you've got time to kill, why not try all 5 Business lounges and report back.

1. Your choice should depend on where your departure gate is. But having said that, all gates are 15 mins walk tops from any lounge. And you have travellators once you hit the Y part of the airport concourse

2. Pier J appears to be the choice being the newest and most spacious.

In addition, a quick search will also lead you to threads for J and F lounges.

Here I posted details and many photos from my 2 visits to the Pier J. start with Post # 105 and continue to #115. Others have posted as well.

+1. If your arrival and/or departure gates are far from the Pier, consider the ~10 minute walk(s) between flights to be another benefit!

Thank you for your opinions, the Pier seems favourite.
Just hope the new lounge is open at Heathrow before we fly! don't fancy the AA lounge much!
