"I had the yellow curry halibut, with spicy green beans and steamed rice. The dish was excellent, though on the small side (at least if you don’t want to eat all the rice)."

Snack: shui gaw in noodle soup (best meal of this flight)

Breakfast #1: smoked baby Swiss egg souffle, applewood smoked bacon, veal sausage, tomato and red bliss potatoes

Breakfast #2: corn and spinach fritata, chicken sausage, braised beans, vine ripened tomato and roasted new potato
Only one word comes to mind when I see your glorious pics - dry!

I truly believe you when you said the shui gao noodles was the best meal of the flight.

We spend a lot of time trying to get it right and for our customers, food is an emotion and a passion.

Obviously CX dont agree
Unfortunately BA is not much better than CX and actually service-wise CX is still slightly better.

That roast duck rice looks like it was a take out from the airport's food court.

which is exactly what it is. He's making the point that he would rather have take away food than what is served onboard.

What food does CX serve for flights to FCO which leaves at around 12:40AM? Supper and then breakfast?

Yes. All the late night European departures get dinner and breakfast.

What can I expect for breakfast on BKK-HKG? I'm not expecting warm nuts and cheese, but hopefully something edible.

I believe exBKK flights are catered from BKK, that said BKK catering seems to be one of the better ones in the network so I think you should be okay.

Wife and I have CX J tix in a few days - curious if CX has made any substantial improvements in catering ex-HKG? If not, odds look good that we can upgrade on AA, so we may switch. Incredible that AA's J catering is at least as good (if not better) than CX these days.
