F on the 77H
My Jan 5 (Sat) HKG-ORD was showing a 77D seat map until about a week ago, when it changed to a 77H seat map in MMB. Is MMB accurate, or is it still going to be the 77D? I ask because I had to change my seat from 31A (exit row on 77D) to 40H (bulkhead aisle on 77H), and would hate to be stuck in 40H, a regular aisle seat, if the plane was indeed a 77D.

I know it's a bit off-topic, but:
It appears as if B-HKF has flown to Victorville (according to flightradar24.com) - for storage, perhaps? Or was it flown to XMN for retrofitting, and the website messed up? The callsign of the flight was "Cathay 3332", which is inconsistent with other flights to XMN previously (I've seen "Cathay 3386" and "Cathay 3388").
And also, on flightradar24.com, B-HKT is now listed as Boeing 747-412F... Is that a mistake, or is B-HKT being converted to BCF (and then sold) instead of "74K"? This page http://www.ch-aviation.ch/portal/air...4/total?cha=CX says that B-HKE, HKF, HKT, HKU are "to be converted", which I might assume means "to be converted to BCF". (B-HKV is a 74K).

The -412 74As' have always been shown as 747-412F or SF over at data.flight24. Glitches...

Where do you want them to put the chart, then? It's the refit status of the individual aircraft that drives the frequency distribution of Cirrus J and PEY on the various routes. Consequently, it's actually the status of individual frames that's of immediate interest, not the routes.
The individual aircraft refit status belongs in this Sticky -- there's no other logical place to put it -- unless you want an entirely different thread, which seems redundant.

not to mention such useful posts have been occurring for months-where was the mod then??- it is too late now, not to mention it being directly linked to the routes!!!

There were posts relating to the topic from time to time. That is why I have been keeping this thread open and sticky. Mods cannot review every post. We can review more closely when a post is flagged.

As posters intend to discuss other topics in this thread, I am closing and unsticking this thread. This thread has probably outlived its usefulness.
For those who like to discuss retrofit status, please start a different thread.
