Can't buy mix classes online?

Trying to buy ticket for my mom, she doesn't want to pay extra travel agent fees and wanted me to help her buy directly from CX. So I went online and try to do a multi-city/stop-over option. She wanted to do PEY for international flights and J for domestic flights, but I don't see any option to do so online. And I missing something or is CX online purchase that limited and I have to call CX Reservations?

CX only has international flights, but not domestic flights. Do you mean transcontinental AA or a OW itinerary?

I am not sure if CX booking engine can even book PEY & J CX/KA flights on same booking.

If originating from TPE, say, then only local TPE agencies can book mix classes. CX website can't do that. Calling CX res can only book also what's available.

Best is to go through agency and have them do waitlist etc for lower fare etc. Even with agency fee, it might be lower than what is 'available' on cx.com

TPECX can do everything that a TA can do if issued on a 160/043 stock. Now the global call centre may not have such ability.

Also I find that often if booking PY, if the regional sector only has J, they will automatically put me into J (I-fare) without charging me extra. This is all on the website.

Can't buy mix classes online?

Many airline or OTA websites can't even book different classes for outbound and return, let alone two separate classes between origin and destination. I assume most/all PE long-haul fares book into Y on the regional connecting flight. Unless there are some (more expensive ones) that allow J, you'd probably have to piece together two separate fare bases, and that can get expensive.
