Amex 2,000AM for $2,000 online spending promo

2,000AM for spending $2,000 online before Sept 30 at designated merchants (includes most local supermarkets and cinemas).

Must register first and limited to first 12,000 cards. Got this on my CX Amex elite card. No idea whether it works on other Amex cards as well.

Since you seem to know everything about this, percysmith, do you know what category members' club monthly bills (e.g. the FCC) falls in to as far as HSBC Rewards is concerned? It's my single biggest item each month, and I could almost always pay it on a Friday, so getting 4.4% back every time would be nice!

christep: I can't say for all clubs for sure but the few clubs I've been allowed to pay in (HKUAA and Ningbo Residents') (as a guest only) have turned out to be Dining for HSBC.

No miles for HSBC welcome offer promo 1 Sep-9 Jan 16

http://www.hongkongcard.com/forum/fo...w.php?id=15825
https://www.personal.hsbc.com.hk/1/2.../cards/prom201

Good opportunity to cancel some of the deadwood cards (CUP Classic, HSBC Gold) in the closet actually. So you can apply for them again in the next welcome offer promo.

You can pay RMB in cash at the counter. Handling fee is waived for RMB Cash credit card repayment. I've done this several times. Will finally be canceling this card now!

Hi,

Just got charged 2500$ for my Citi Prestige card and wonder whether the 20,000 AM (down from 30,000) worth the fee anymore? I read somewhere that i can cancel the card and get a full refund of the annual fee within a month.

Instead i'm considering the BEA Flyer. I spend around 30K per month, and changing the card alone will earn me an extra 12,000 AM per year.

And by the way, Citi have already sent me my new Priority Pass card valid until end 2016. Anything else i should consider to keep or not my Citi Prestige?

Thanks,
