Is the Fubon registration retrospective for Japan/Korea/Taiwan transactions? ie. as long as you register before the end of the month you're covered for any Japan/Korea/Taiwan transactions earlier that month? 'Cause we're leaving in the early hours of April 1, and don't fancy going through the registration process in the departure hall.

Unionpay still patchy outside of duty free zones and hotels in JP/KR so unless you're a parallel trader a V/M is still your go-to card.
