Only CX253 confirmed for Outbound flights (3 people will travel together, 1 on revenue ticket + 1 on Companion Ticket + 1 Award ticket)

On this situation, how can i perform the lounge hop for QF Lounge + CX The Wing (J Lounge)?

Also, how long should I stay for maximizing the lounge experience? (will have lunch pre-flight in the lounge, which is better? QF Lounge and/or CX The Wing J Lounge?)

Are they all flying in CX J? You just go to the QF Lounge and show them the boarding passes. They'll inform you that they don't make boarding announcements, and let you in.

The QF lounge opens at 3pm, so you'll need CX253 to be massively delayed to be able to make use of it.

Was afraid of this

Well maybe its worth going airside after I arrive from SFO @ 7PM to check this out - leave 10 AM the next day for TYO though

Does QF still have Häagen-Dazs?

Are you allowed to go airside upon arrival with such a connection? I'm not sure how that works but interested to know.

If you're planning to stay airside, it's not a problem. Trying to go landside after this would be rather difficult, however.

Mother of....well, we'll have to give it a go when we're heading back to London towards the end of the month!

It's the same provided you have a boarding pass as it is less than 24 hours.

The interior design somewhat reminds me of the old "The Hong Kong Lounge" that BA and QF used to have.

Visited lounge today. Was in a hurry as was running late so only spent around 10 mins there. But from the face of it, lounge is as good if not better than CX Business Class lounges.

I did my quick stay yesterday night too, the lounge decour is nice, good spread of of salad, however, seems lacking of variety of hot food with not a lot of protein. The char siu is way to skinny and not that tastie. Alcohol is bit better than cx but not a lot.

Will i go again? May be if my departure is at gate 10s

So what this means is the G16 Lounge will now get even less busy than it was before after 3pm. Which already was a fairly low standard
