MPC Reservations Line

Hi,

As a newly minted Green I'm wondering what services the MPC reservations line can offer?

"Flight reservations via dedicated 24-hour Club Service Line"

For example could they take a new booking and place on hold for later payment as some other airlines do?

Thanks!

No help. I think a TA is better for holds.

might be worth your while doing some reading before certain people on here jump down your throat for asking questions they deem to be not suitable.

Theoretically they can do that, but they are usually reluctant to make revenue bookings. Yes, CX can hold reservation made over the phone.

what they can really do is to change ur flights after your first flight of the itinerary.
I tried to ask them to help me book flights, but chances are that agents and even CX ticketing cannot access that booking.

Thanks I think it's just the normal res line, called MPC and they would only do award bookings.

Do you know how long CX will hold for? Just 24 hours or longer? Thanks

Certainly region- and status-dependent. As a GO I can pretty much hold it for as long as I want (for revenue bookings) until 3 days before departure, but price is not guaranteed. In Taiwan the general practice is to allow anyone to hold it until 5 days before departure in off-peak season.
