8,000 *extra* miles

Overseas earn (Prestige and Premiermiles): $2/mile total = $4/mile normal + $4/mile extra
Max spend = $5,000 + 8,000x4 = 5,000 + 32,000 = $37,000

Local earn (Premiermiles): $5/mile total = $8/mile normal + $13.33/mile extra
Max spend = 5,000 + 8,000x13.33 = 5,000 + 106,666.67 = $111,666.67

Local earn (Prestige): $5/mile total = $6/mile normal + $30/mile extra
Max spend = 5,000 + 8,000x30 = 5,000 + 240,000 = $245,000

"Up to 50%" spending rebate

God I hope there's some RC as well...Bankcomm's disappointed us HSBC and CCB's my last hopes...
https://www.redhotoffers.hsbc.com.hk...and-conditions

No RC component...so no AM/KF/Avios...

And the cash rebate is limited to $75 for the first half week (26-30/6). Perhaps seeing Bankcomm is lowballing, HSBC decided it can do the same also!

$0.12/mile, plus a spend requirement. I personally won't do it.

But I think there're some of you here who want to buy miles at $0.12 (psychiatrist with SCB), so I post it FYI.
Hi Percysmith,
Just a quick question - this DBS promo seems to require registration athttp://treats.hk.dbs.com. Is there a way I can telephone and register (as I do not have any PIN and am not in HK? Also, is there a deadline for registration? Thank you.

How do I get my PIN before the end of the month? Is that my phone-banking pin?
Am I right that I must redeem what I have spent before today before end of month? Thank you.

Seems like none of the CCB cards have attractive welcome offers? Is it too late to sign up?

Not going there.

(Corrected 1:19PM 1/7)

Pay 32,000 (x 1.035 handing charge) - get 132.48RC or 1,987.2 miles (can be Avios or KF as well as AM if Premier)

1,120 / (12,133 + 1,987.2) = $0.0793 or just under 8 cents a mile. Can't buy that.
