TVB's Triumph in the Skies II, with a hint of CX

Triumph in the Skies was a really popular show in Hong Kong a few years ago and it seems that they are going to produce a sequel to it next year. I was looking at the presentation images and what caught my eyes were the FA uniforms.

Is it me or does the uniform look like a mash up of CX's uniform, especially the top, the badge and the skirt. Imagine if this was CX's new uniform instead of the recently introduced one. (Shivers)
I know that TVB has a sponsor problem with CX, and at the end CX ended the sponsor contract.

Hmm, never saw the first version, on a side note, the documentary "Building Hong Kong's Airport" by the BBC was very very good, about an hour in lengh and shows not only the building and completion of HKG, it also shows the building of the suspension bridge and various roadways, tunnels and the closing ceremony for Kai Tak and opening of Chek Lap Kok.

Just watched a clip of 'Building Hong Kong's Airport' and it seems really interesting and detailed, I've watched another documentary from the BBC called Richard Hammond Engineering Construction and it basically was about building certain parts of the airport, but after watching the one you recommended I now know which one I prefer.

No it's gonna be based on HX http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E8%A1%...%B2%E9%9C%84II - I just saw the preview for it after Bachelors at War

Can we shift this to HK forum please?

Lets move to regional forum and discuss further

Did anyone watch the pilot?
http://programme.tvb.com/drama/triumphintheskies2/
http://mytv.tvb.com/drama/triumphintheskies2/

I know I'll be much picker than when Triumph I was shown, but I can't believe the corniness...

The rascist airline passenger story was cribbed like a DSE paper.

Australia has conscription? Not since the Whitlam Government. If you are 17 in 1972 you would edging towards retirement now.

Oh. HKG-LGW on a A333. Didn't HX already stopped flying that in real life?

WTH was the halo?

I dunno if I can stand it to half-way...hope Skylette planes have parachutes. Or just crash me in SFO (new destination suggestion for HX/HU/Skylette!)...

I like how chi-lam (the pilot) line up for takeoff without pushing back and get cleared to take-off that quick

LCHChester: I wondered why HKG ATC was Aussie...I did a double take on chilam's routing...

LGW: I wonder how long ago they started shooting this, to feature HX LGW so prominently.

Where were the seats from anyway? The old Club Premier? http://www.businesstraveller.com/new...s-club-class-s (Club Classic not longer exists right?)
