What were the original surcharges?

Also, what if I had purchased my ticket in June, but won't be flying until October. Will they reimburse me the discount?

Thanks

Wait till July to make the purchase. In fact, hold till Aug if you can. CX will probably lower YQ once again in Aug. -6% for short haul and -5% for longhaul. You can find out the previous YQ from the sticky thread

Is this a refundable/changable ticket? You can do the math to see if the refund/change penalty is > than the decrease

Well I suppose I can cancel and rebook my A tix.. But then again, the penalty fee might offset the benefits..

A 6% drop to 221 would mean it was only $235 for short haul. A $14 savings, if I am understanding google translate correctly. Right?

Or just reticket if the penalty is lower. But it all depends on your fare rules. You might end up paying more than you already had

Or you can just do a simple subtraction using the data here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/catha...urcharges.html

It was 236 before
