I visited Helsinki for a couple of days and I decided to book a Business Class room at Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel. In Helsinki you will find 4 Radisson Blu hotels but Plaza has the best reviews and a very good and convenient location.

I really enjoyed the stay there and all services that customers staying in a Business Class room have - lounge access, sauna, gym and so on.

Location

Right next to the central train station in Helsinki, maybe 5 minutes walking from it. Very convenient for airport transfer by train.

Many shops and shopping malls around, a casino and tram + bus station.

Check In

Very quick check-in process done in a couple of minutes. The staff there was very nice, friendly and speaks perfect english. They explained all you need to know about your benefits.

Room

Spacious and very clean, minimalistic design and lots of amenities to feel like home.

Despite being located in the city center close to a boulevard, the room is very quiet, no weird noise from other rooms or while their staff is cleaning around.

Dining

I had only breakfast so I cannot tell you anything else about their restaurant.

To sum it up, their breakfast is amazing, a lot of options to choose, and also for Business Class rooms (and above) they offer free roomservice for breakfast. You can order it from their One Touch app or by calling at the reception.

As you can see, there are many many and very diversified breakfast options. A chef is cooking fresh omelette for guests, you only have  to ask for and wait a bit.

The dinning room is situated at 1st floor, next to the reception and is big enough to accommodate many customers and have lots of space between tables.

Bathroom

Quite spacious, feautering bathtub and TV incorportated in the mirror. Would be great to be able to mirror the content from main TV to the one you have it in the bathroom. Anyway, even without this option, there are many channels to watch while spending time in this place. :)

Gym

Available for free for customers and can be found, together with sauna, at 2nd floor. Is available only for customers.

Overall

I liked it very much and Plaza Hotel definetely deserves its very good rating, everywhere you search will find lots of positive reviews, people talking a lot about their breakfast.

I would appreciate a shuttle bus to/from airport, as by train it takes about an hour, but as the main train station is just 5min walking from the hotel, this service is not so missed, IMO.

Crews from Qatar Airways and Japan Airlines are hosted at Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel as well, so ofthen you can meet them.

All guests have access to free WiFi and their One Touch app (in browser, iOS or Android). This app is very useful and if you are not at the hotel but want to request something, just open the app, choose your hotel, room number and order what you need.

I highly recommend this place and hope to visit it soon again.
