According to my records, I canceled my Club Carlson visa signature card in late March of 2015 (~1.4 years ago), having applied for the card in June of 2014 (over two years ago). How soon can I re-apply for another Club Carlson card and how likely is it I'd be approved for another card including the bonus?

Still have the credit bureau freezes in place (the smaller ones, not the Big Three) I needed for original approval.

Also wondering if, instead, I should consider applying for a U.S. Bank FlexPerks card--never owned one. Presuming it can be used as a travel statement credit card, with partial credit statements allowed, similar to the Barclays Arrival card. I have some Barclays Arrival points plus some BankAmericard Travel Rewards points. If I can get another travel statement credit card, may be able to purchase a cruise using only statement credits.

Main use of Club Carlson would be filling in weird gaps in Europe where there aren't any other points hotel brands. I have around 115K Club Carlson gold points presently.

Is there a better, pre-existing thread for this question? Been trying to keep up with Citi, Chase, and Amex's re-application rules, but don't know of U.S. Bank's.
