Charging to room needed to get points for meeting room?
I am a member of a professional organization that rents a meeting room for 2 days maybe 6 times a year. The hotel recently reflagged as a CI&S.
The president says I can put the room on my Club Carlson credit card for both the hotel (20 per dollar plus Gold bonus) and credit card (10 per dollar) points if I split the value with the organization.
Any tricks here? Does the meeting room rental have to be linked to a sleeping room to get both kinds of points? Thanks.
