Powe Points 25% off award points
First time I have seen this. Searching for hotels in Chicago for tonight and I see 3 hotels that are 25% off of award points. The rate is called Power Points. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to work with my Club Carlson Visa last night free benefit.

This promotion doesn't seem to be getting much of a push. I like the concept, though. Just wish it included more locations.

Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Chicago O'Hare Northwest, IL has an 11,250 point award for tonight and tomorrow night. But a 2-night redemption for these dates does not give a night free for cardholders.
Not sure if you could somehow force a normal 15K redemption and get a free night.
