Any retention bonus for keeping CC Visa Card?

Any retention bonus for keeping CC Visa Card?
I was thinking of cancelling card. Annual Fee coming up. Just used my last points on Radiasson Blu and after reading other members stating 40,000 points usually take 2-3 months to post.

I was thinking if I wanted to stay at Radiasson in future, I can have wife apply to get the bigger bonus. No immediate need for any Carlson stay currently. Thanks

In my experience, the 40k annual renewal posted in the statement following my annual fee. So it only took one month.

40K points + gold status for $75 is an excellent deal. If this were available in Brazil, I would jump at it like there were no tomorrow.

Yeah, and I'm 6 months past annual fee and still haven't seen it.

Edit: Mine just posted. Think my renewal date is jan/feb, but just now got it.

There is slow, and then there is Carlson slow.....

My renewal bonus didn't take long to post at all. I wonder why the differences? Maybe card activity or payment patterns? I rarely use my card and pay the balance off each month.
