Best Rate Guarantee - Nonsense

I saw Omaha Airport on Orbitz for $84 and went to Club Carlson to make reservation. They were $144. I bought reservation and sent in claim.

It was on a Sunday afternoon.

I received and E-mail telling me that claim has to be made within 24 hours. I made in less than 5 minutes.

I now think they just don't honor that BRG benfit.

Anyone have success with BRG?

I filed a couple of BRGs and all of those were accepted as long as currency and T&C like cancellation policy, breakfast etc. matched. The claim must be made up to 24 hours after booking AND 48 hours before the stay. Perhaps you violated the 48 hours rule?

I looked at E_mails.

I booked at 7:37 am on Sunday July 20.
I made claim at 7:43 am on Sunday July 20.

Hotel reservation was for Friday July 25.

Same hotel, same room, all same. it was turned down due to claim not made within 24 hours.

I already booked a different hotel.

Does anyone know a corporate contact us. I'm pretty upset that this person in customer service is not honoring a clear rule and want to take this oneto next level.

What did the original person say when you indicated it was within the 24 hour period? Could be an honest mistake.
