2for1 or 4for1 Rate Status Nights?
Hi all,
I just booked a room using the 2for1 EMEA rate and saw in the rate details:
"INSTRUCTIONS:
ID/Certificate required at check-in
Rate may not be booked for more than 2 nights.
2 night minimum stay required.
Must book 2 days in advance.
Guest must present Club Carlson Gold Tier card at check-in.
Maximum 2 rooms per ID.
Only Gold Points awarded."
So, does this mean I will get Gold Points but no nights counting towards status re-qualification?
Thanks,
fassy

Hi all! Sorry for the late reply on this topic but I have different kind of experience. I recently stayed on 4for2 and was rewarded points for the money spent on the room and only two nights instead of 4. When I asked about this I got the following reply:
"The last two nights of your stay were free nights as you used the weekend extend rate therefor they do not count towards elite status.
We do not have access to the food and beverage charges , can you send us a copy of the reciept."

I had two separate 2-4-1 stays last month. One at PI Bratislava. The other at RB Warsaw Sobieski. Each posted as 2 nights.

So far my 2-4-1 and 4-4-2 stays have always posted correctly (the actual nights stayed). As a matter of fact, something like 99% of my stays at Club Carlson properties have been using this gold status perk.
