Hi I'm new, I tried a search and couldn't find anything.

I got an email from CC with very little info other than dream deals arriving soon(24 hours) and that its three days members only access...

Anyone heard anything or seen this sort of thing before?

I got this too.

Just checked for some plans and there was some properties with interesting rates, but then, those cheapest rates were available only some one-off dates. When I check some dates which I wished to book, the price went up significantly to a level nearly same as normal booking.

Given that these dreamdeals are non-refundable for that matter, this promo was not that dream anymore.

I have seven or eight hotels booked over the period of this promotion and I was rubbing my hands in glee thinking that I will be cancelling them all and rebooking under dream deal. But in the end I only cancelled one - a points and cash where for €2 more I don't have to use my 10,000 gold points. That was the only one I changed. Maybe I was doing it wrong but I tried to book for Rome in early September and, like so many of the other stays, there is no availability on the dates I wished for. But for Rome - despite being listed as in the offer, the availability calendar doesn't show any availability at all during the whole period of the promotion!! From what I can see the dream deal seems to be an additional 10% on top of the existing pre-pay rate and that's only if there is availability on the days that you're looking for... Is this really the best Club Carlson can offer us?

What a disappointment, once again. I was getting high hopes for this one as the email sounded so mysterious and came so late. But should have known better since there hasn't been any good promos for ages. I made 0 dream deals.

I got this reply overnight from Club Carlson about the non availabity of Rome despite this being shown on the website:

unable to find those dates open for you as well. I spoke to one of our
Sales Specialists here and they advised if there is nothing available
that means all the rooms the hotel had available for that promotion for

other type of availability via email as this can change at any moment

i tried to book a park inn in germany for the night from 14 to 15 june on tuesday (10/June/14) but there was no availibilty for the dreamdeal-rate.
today I did another look and found availibilty for the same price as the points&cash rate. so I reebooked the room immediatly.
