what qualifies as a "point eligible stay"?

I tried searching but could not find the answer to my question.

I am trying to take part in the Stay 3 get 1 free promo. I see that getaroom has the night for $20 cheaper. Radisson denied the Best Price Guarantee for some dumb reason. If I book my nights on getaroom.com is that considered point eligible?

I remember in previous promos you had to book on radisson.com etc but cannot find that info for the new promotion.

Thanks!

No. Third party bookings are never point eligible.

it depends on the site. sites like Amex FHR, where the site is acting like as travel agent- yes. Travel.amex.com or whatever does not generally accrue points. if you have a question about a particular corporate site, you can call the site and ask. in my experience, Club Carlson is no different in this regard than any other major chain.

my corporate travel does not get points at HH,IHG, although I do get benefits at check in, upgrade, etc, but not even night credits.

CC and CHOICE I do get all benefits plus points of cash portion and eligible for promos

So, to answer your question, CC is a little bit more liberal.
