Unable to change/cancel booking online?
I have a change of plans and have to cancel a booking that I made online a few weeks ago, I have until the 22nd to cancel the room but when I access my account online I can't amend it, so I went through the link on the e-mail (that states that I can cancel it) and it says
Has anybody had this problem before? I will call them tomorrow if I have time, but I am surprised with this, and have never had such an issue in the past.

I had this happen to me a few months ago on a reservation in Athens. The CC CSR I talked to said it was because the hotel had modified the reservation somehow and that they (the hotel) were the only ones who could then make changes. I ended up calling the hotel to cancel.

I called the hotel today and the person that I talked to could not cancel it (it was a bit late, and I guess that the people that have the knowledge/authorisation to do this had already left for today), so he noted my e-mail address and phone number and somebody should call me back tomorrow. I will wait until tomorrow now and see what happens.
