They are not following their own rules about the no award blackout date policy! And no welcome gifts or recognition of gold members

Radisson Aruba

Stayed there one night in "13" as a bridge to my timeshare a couple properties down. Hyatt has a nice swim up bar, the ground at the Radisson are very nice. I used 50k in redemption points for the night, I asked for an upgrade and they gave me one. But, I don't think the upgrade was all that great; standard rooms seem to be the same you just get a better view. It had a very nice casino, restaurants and pool area. I don't think you would go wrong staying there.

I booked in early Nov nights at Martinique NYC with points and since December I have been trying to add another room (checking almost every day), but no points availability on those dates. Early June. I am surprised.

We have been following this on the Martinique thread. Quite annoying. Availability has been fluctuating with months at a time dropping off and returning, so it clearly has nothing to do with actual availability and is merely a stealth blackout, which they allege they don't have.

I wrote a nastygram to their Facebook page and got a response from the hotel saying to contact them directly and they might be able to override.

If you do that and are successful, please let us know.

If you want to see what blackouts look like, look no further than Radisson Blu Le Dokhan's and Metropolitan in Paris. Finally one week is available at Metropolitan in 2015 (next week, I think). Not a single room available in 2015 for Le Dokhan's.
